Chairman of Adamawa United, Emmanuel Zira, says the club will prioritise their players insurance in preparation for the 2020/21 Nigeria Professional Football League season.
Zira said the club would ensure all requirements towards licensing by the League Management Company were met.

The LMC had released a list of conditions for NPFL clubs in preparation for the 2020/21 season.
The league body set a minimum N200m for every club in the country’s topflight league, as well as a comprehensive insurance for players and officials before the commencement of the league, which is expected to kickoff in November.

“Everyone here is working on getting our licence towards the commencement of the league. It’s not been easy, it’s tedious, everybody is working on it. The club may not achieve 100 per cent, but at least the key ones will be met; insurance, guarantee and others will be done.

“The insurance is part of the new club licensing we are working towards, and it will be done. In fact, it is the first item on our agenda. With the way this country is going, we need to make sure everyone’s future is secured,” Zira told newsmen.
