President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Amaju Pinnick has decided to be a candidate for the FIFA Council at the next Elective Congress of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) scheduled for 21st March 2021 in Rabat, Morocco.
The former Warri Wolves chairman was 2nd Vice President of CAF as recently as 2019 and was endorsed by the Executive Committee of NFF to vie for any elective position in the forthcoming CAF and FIFA elections as deemed appropriate last month.
