Super Eagles goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho, is appreciating God for bringing him back to his best after several months of recuperating from an injury.
Uzoho hasn’t played since he suffered a knee injury in Nigeria’s 1-1 draw with Brazil in last year’s international friendly encounter.
During his time on the sidelines, Uzoho switched clubs from Omonia Nicosia to Apoel, and he made his debut on Wednesday night.
Goals from Konstantinos Apostolakis(40), Omer Atzili(42), Anuar(54) and Stavros Gavriel (90) secured a comprehensive win for Apoel.
Following the clash, Uzoho took to his Twitter account to express his happiness at making a return from injury after 380 days out.
The former Elche man could also make his international return when Gernot Rohr names his squad for Nigeria’s November Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone.
