It was completely a weekend of upsets in the gameweek four of the English Premier league as supposedly weaker teams got the better of ‘giants’ in the league. Results of football games over the weekend completely turned upside down and rubbished the permutations of bookmakers.

It must have been a bad weekend for bet-stars and stakers, though some who are fond of betting on big odds may be smiling to banks with the results of the weekend.

A weekend which saw Manchester United losing embarrassingly 1-6 at home to Tottenham Hotspurs. This defeat is the highest margin loss since losing to the same score line at the Theatre of Dreams to Manchester City under Sir Alex Ferguson.

Leicester United who had the previous weekend embarrassed the most dreaded Manchester City at the Etihad stadium also got their own baptism of fire in the hands of less fancied Westham United who handed them a 0-3 bashing at their own backyard.

Same weekend of drama saw Manchester City failing to bring it to the big party for a second successive week, as they could only battle for a one all draw with newly promoted Leeds United.

Defending champions, Liverpool wrapped up the weekend of shocks with its embarrassing 7-2 loss at the hands of Aston Villa at Villa Park.

A weekend of drama, upsets and shock it really was.
