Two time Champions league heroes Enyimba are full of prayers for their goalkeeper John Noble after he was called to the national team by the Gernot Rohr tutored technical crew.

Noble is receiving his first call up to the Super Eagles ahead of the double header AfCON qualifiers against Squirrels of Benin Republic and Crocodiles of Lesotho respectively. The Peoples Elephants did not only applaud Noble’s invitation but backed him with prayers to excel in his national assignment.
“Big congrats to John Noble on his first @NGSuperEagles call up” the club said Tuesday sealing it with clapping sign.

Noble was named alongside Francis Uzoho and Maduka Okoye.
Nigeria international and Kaizer Chiefs safe hand
Daniel Akpeyi was left out of the party as well as Heartland FC goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa.
The Super Eagles battle Squirrels at Stade Charles de Gaulle in Porto Novo on March 27 before facing the Crocodiles three days later at Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.

Meanwhile Enyimba will have their hands full on Wednesday(today) as they host Libyan side Ahli Benghazi in the CAF Confederation Cup tie. Enyimba who crashed out the CAF Champions League Campaign grabbed a place in the Confederation Cup after edging out Compatriots Rivers United in the Confederation Cup playoffs.

Enyimba were subsequently drawn against Ahli Benghazi, Orlando Pirates of South Africa and ES Setif of Algeria. A win for the Peoples Elephants will be a good way to start the two legged campaign that will see the top two teams of the group head into the quarterfinals of the competition.
