Enyimba’s Victor Mbaoma is eagerly waiting December 6 for a repeat performance at the Aba Township Stadium in the ongoing preliminary round of the CAF Champions league.

Mbaoma last Sunday scored the only goal that ensured that Enyimba left Ouagadougou with three points in the kitty at the expense of hosts Rahimo.

Mbaoma 76th minute goal was all that was needed to put the Peoples Elephants and two time Champions League winners in the driving seat. Mbaoma can be said to have played the role of a super sub as he made the much needed difference after he was introduced by Coach Fatai Osho in the second half and did not hesitate in converting Anayo Iwuala’s corner kick.

While it will be operation consolidate for Enyimba, same cannot be said of Plateau United who lost by a lone goal to visiting Simba Fc of Tanzania.

Although the Nigerian side dominated proceedings it was the visitors that sang the victory song following a lone goal.
Coach Abdul Maikaba we however gather has charged his boys to double effort with view to turning the table in Dodoma.
