The new commissioner of police, CP Echeng Eworo Echeng who has officially assumed office has assured of violent free election in the state.
Anambra State Police Command spokesperson, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu disclosed this in a press release on friday.
According to the release “The Anambra State Police Command wished to inform the general public especially Ndi Anambra and residents alike that the newly posted Commissioner of Police of the Command CP Echeng Eworo has assumed duty as the 32nd Commissioner of Police Anambra Command”.
“Prior to his appointment as the CP Anambra State, CP Echeng Eworo Echeng had previously served as Commissioner of Police Baysela State, CP Central Criminal Registry, FCID, Abuja, Compol Mopol Force Headquarters, Abuja, DC Border Patrol Force Headquarters Abuja, DC FCID Zone 13, Ukpo- Dunukofia, Police Component Commander, joint Task Force, Operation Delta Safe amongst others”.
The statement further stated that “The Anambra State Police Command, by this announcement solicits support and cooperation of the good and well-meaning persons of the state especially in area of providing credible and timely crime prevention information and intelligence to curb emerging crimes”.
