There comes a time in one’s life for critical analysis and self reevaluation, the end of which often brings about a total turn around with the resolution to make things happen and to beat history. But this can be possible only if the one involved is with a sublime, liberal mindset that sees the best in every situation, and indeed goes for the best, regardless of cost and consequences.
A thorough self analysis using SWOT and PESTLE tools and “ELCONIC MODEL OF INTIMACY” worth more than all the material resources put together especially when such are in the wrong hands. Self realization with an unbiased knowledge and acceptance of one’s limitations is the first condition to conquering the world. Thus, the admonition, “Know Thyself” remains true all the time.
Knowing oneself is the best thing that can happen in the life of anyone desirous of change – positive change for an improved society as it comes with uncommon discoveries of needs and the earnest desire to work tirelessly towards fulfilling such needs. Therefore, know yourself if you must make an impact; impact your generation and conquer the world – your world. Do it right, and in time.
With a good knowledge of yourself, if you are true to yourself, there is no battle you would not win because you will select your battles right, bearing in mind that failure is part of success just as pains are integral parts of gains. There is no adventure without some degrees of adversity; there is no gainful pursuit without pains. Release leads to increase; nothing will happen without something causing such to happen. There will always be action and reaction; cause and effect!
The world will only celebrate you when you win. Accolades will come from everywhere to them that make it but no one would like to be associated with failure, at least openly. Therefore, before embarking on any course, programme or project, weigh the cost. Consider the pros and cons – and be prepared for the eventual outcome which may or may not favour you. Have a plan for every possible outcome.
It is one thing to talk as a spectator but it is another thing to talk from experience as an active participant. The difference between the two is clear and much. Experience counts.
What we desire, we demand; what we lack, we seek. The needy long for abundance; the sick crave for good health. The captive often sleep with both eyes open. Those in bondage appreciate freedom the most. What we don’t know remains a mystery! But with a teachable heart, the conscious and willing ignorant mind can become a master. It is a question of realization and determination. Pay the price and get the prize.
There is no end to what the mind can conceive or imagine. There is no limit to what human beings can dream of but there is a limit to what we can truly do because we have scarce resources with limited time in an enclosed space. little wonder the grave remains the greatest place for ideas and dreams that are never harnessed and put into use.
To maximize our potentials, there is a need for liberation and unity. But it is only the people that know the import and indeed earnestly desire liberation and unity that can go out to embrace the inherent pains and discomfort in their pursuit and conquest. Nothing will happen except something will cause something to happen. Until someone goes out to challenge the status quo, nothing will change. But be careful: such adventure is not a jamboree party. Real positive change is very expensive.
It will take a game changer to turn things around, probably differently for better – and such comes at a huge cost, which most people are not ready to pay. Many people want prosperity without hard, smart work which is an impossibility.
Life, itself, is more like a bud of uncertainty. It is indeed a mysterious voyage to an unknown destination on a rough bumpy route. However cautious one may be even after all kinds of prayers the future can’t be predicted with precision. Many things happen that are far beyond our understanding. Many things are outside our reach and control as human beings. Therefore, change anything you can and accept to live with the ones you cannot.
Perception, perspective and approach matter in the management of the investment called time. What you value, you preserve; what you preserve, your protect! To get the best of life, you must hold it very dear and pay the right price at the right time and purpose.
Probe yourself and the circumstances and situations around you. Challenge yourself beyond measure even when you feel you have arrived. Stretch yourself the more even outside your comfort zone. There is no gain without pain – and pain is an inevitability that can come in multiples and legions, depending on who you are, what you do and what you want to achieve.
To be transformed, you must pass through some processes of conscious discomfort and pains. Be focussed, and you will not lose direction even with obstacles and oppositions everywhere. Create a sense of purpose. Go for the result no matter the cost including separation from loved ones, confidants and useful partners. Strangely, until the unexpected happens, you would not realize that the one you hold in high esteem had been the one plotting your downfall.
