Mothers have been charged to always imbibe good conduct, submissiveness while working hard to strengthen social economic prosperity, success, peace and comfort in their homes, community and society.

Speaking the State Woman Leader of Young Progressives Party (YPP), Lady Chika Uju, stated this shortly after church service at Community of HaShem (Ben Simeon Synagogue), Ikenegbu, Owerri, on Saturday.

She urged women to continue to be caring mothers and respectful wives to be able to control their homes especially when their husbands are not around. “Mothers should be strong enough to help their husbands to surmount their challenges while holding on to God, adding that when they have faith in God things will change positively.

“You should emulate good behavior, set templates of goodness for other women to follow to stabilize their families too. Train your children in the way of God so that they become your source of joy when you grow old. The Owerri based journalist said that she was filled with joy as God saved her from evil, sustained her life, as well as availed her the golden opportunity of being elevated as Golden Lady Award by Nkwerre Aborigine’s Union Women Wing. Uju appreciated Nkwerre Aborigine’s Union Women Wing for finding her worthy for the Award of Golden Lady of Nkwerre, during their 2021 August Women Meeting, held at Nkwerre Civic Center, on Friday.

In the homily earlier, resident minister of Ben Simeon Synagogue, Apostle Izunna Lawrence Okolie, advised husbands and wives to continue to love, tolerate and forgive themselves to enable them live peacefully and prosperously, saying divorce should be jettisoned by God’s children but should abide by God’s principles on institution of marriage which he described as best thing that has happened to humanity.
