Wema Bank has introduced a new Mastercard dollar debit card.
According to an email by the lender forwarded to our correspondent, the daily spending limits are set at $1,000, $10,000, $5,000 for daily Automated Teller Machine, Point of Sale and web transactions.
Part of the statement read, “This card is designed for international transactions and linked directly to domiciliary accounts. Daily spending limits: ATM, $1,000; POS, $10,000; Web, $5,000.”
Also, customers would be charged a card fee of $3 and an annual fee of $10 for making use of the card.
Cash withdrawal on an ATM would attract $2 per transaction and no charge on PoS and web transactions.
Customers were advised to request the card at the branches of the bank.
