Sole Administrator of Oru West Local Government Area, Chief Willie TC Okolieogwo, says election of Governor Hope Uzodimma as Chairman of APC Governors Forum (AGF) will strengthen socio-economic development in Imo State.
Governor Hope Uzodimma was elected the Chairman of Progressives Governors Forum last week in Abuja in an election that involved Governors elected into office under the platform of APC. AGF is a forum that is made up of Governors elected under APC. It serves as a platform for cooperation, policy development and sharing of experiences for a positive way forward.
Speaking in Owerri, last week, Okolieogwo explained that the Governor deserves the revered position given to him which he said came because of his leadership ingenuity, democratic spirit, sense of unity, cooperation and godliness.
The SOLAD attributed that the Governor’s 3r agenda of rehabilitation, reconstruction and recovery of Imo State is gaining momentum as the state witnesses social edification and security.
While hailing the Governor on his elevation, Okolieogwo maintained that Uzodimma has done a lot of quality roads virtually in all parts of Imo State, a feat he added is encouraging productivity, as well as ease traffic including the promotion of workers, employment of 10,000 primary school teachers, youth rejuvenation, empowerment on ICT skills, among others.
Okolieogwo appealed to the people of Imo State to fully support the Governor’s reelection bid for enhanced good governance, peace, security and prosperity.
