The tussle over the chieftaincy stool of Eziama autonomous community in Isiala Mbano local government area might have been put to rest as the traditional ruler, Eze I.I. Anyadiegwu, has paid a visit to the Interim Management Committee chairman of Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo state, Hon. Chika Okoroike.
It would be recalled that the monarch was on December 30 coronated at St Michael Anglican Church, Eziama, despite a court order stopping his coronation.
The monarch defied the court order and policemen who came to enforce the court order and was coronated in the church.
The monarch and his cabinet were accompanied to see the IMC chairman by the IMC member representing Osuama/Anara ward, Hon Emeka Ibe.
The IMC chairman who welcomed the newly coronated monarch congratulated him and enjoined him to ensure peace reigns in his community.
Okoroike said that the governor Hope Uzodimma led administration is committed to deepening democracy at the grassroots.
Responding, the monarch said that his community would continue support the Uzodimma-led administration.
