It was a miracle on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, as a truck driver and two others escaped death in a lone road crash.
The incident occurred at Immigration junction, Awka, Anambra State capital.

News Echo correspondent reports that the tanker which was laden with diesel reportedly fell after the driver lost control of the vehicle, due to over-speeding and crashing on a road side.

An eye witness stated that the driver of the vehicle without a registration number and two other persons on board had minor bruises.

Men of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Fire Service, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps and police were on ground to ensure free flow of traffic as no life was lost and victims taken to hospital.

The Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, Anambra State, Andrew A Kumapayi, has however, warned drivers to desist from driving above stipulated speed limits, to avoid preventable road traffic crashes.
He also prayed for the quick recovery of the injured and admonished motorists to obey road traffic rules and regulations in order to stay safe.
