The Traditional ruler of Isiagu community in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State, Igwe Augustine Nwankwo, has commended his people for voting Professor Chukwuma Soludo, in the just concluded November 6, 2021 governorship election in the state.

According to him, he personally ordered the people of Isiagu community to vote for Soludo of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), because, he remains the only person that can consolidate on the legacy of the present administration of governor Willie Obiano, whose tenure expires March 17, 2022.
The Traditional ruler, gave the assertion while speaking to journalists at his palace, on Wednesday, shortly after distributing food items; rice, cows, tomatoes, onions, among others to the needy and vulnerable people to mark his 1st Ofala Festival after 11 years on the throne.
“I personally ordered my people to vote for Prof. Soludo, because of his long time experience on Nigeria economic situation. And I think he has the experience, the courage and the boldness to manage human and material resources very well.
He assured that Soludo will maintain the already existing policies of Willie Obiano, especially, the constant payment of workers’ salaries as at when due, all inclusive administration, the operational International Passengers/Cargo Airport, International Conference Centre and Awka City Stadium.
