To ensure absolute reign of peace, prosperity, cordiality including development in Imo communities, the newly sworn-in Sole Administrators (SOLADs) of Oru West, Oru East, Owerri Municipal Council and Ikeduru, have promised to render effective and unbiased service to their people throughout their stay in office.
They maintained that when
communities in Imo State have working infrastructures such as electricity, good road network, quality and accessible healthcare delivery, neat and solid market environments among others the people particularly youths would adequately engage in productive activities that can promote economic prosperity, thereby propel good living, security, comfort in a tranquil and serene milieu.
The Sole Administrators, Hon. Willie TC Okoliegwo, Hon. Celestine Nnamdi Onyeaka (Onyeoma na Abuja), Hon. Nze Christian and Very Rev. CNN Nwanebo who made the promise after their inauguration by Governor Hope Uzodimma at Sam Mbakwe Exco Chamber, Government House, Owerri, last week, assured that they would work in accordance to the dictates of democracy and in line with the policy of government to advance the welfare and wellbeing of the people at the grassroots.
According to Okoliegwo, “I will render more effective service to the people of Oru West because I’m ready to serve them again in this capacity. Yes, it is an additional responsibility which calls for additional service delivery to the communities. And we are going to gain additional success and development”.
Just as Onyeaka asserted that he will work in line with the mantra of the Shared Prosperity administration, as well as in conformity and cordiality with the people of Oru East to lift the area positively to nip crime and insecurity at the bud. Indeed, I had empowered many youths at the locality and I will do more.
We are committed to help the Governor to achieve the reconciliation, recovery and reconstruction agenda of the present administration to developing the state to good of all persons”.
With Hon. Nze Christian vowing he will do his “best to make sure that I drive dividends of democracy to the grassroots as to put more smiles on the faces of Owerri Municipal Council people.
I thank them for their support and prayers. I’m also thankful to Governor Hope Uzodimma for elevating me to such a political height. We shall work together to make enormous progress”.
While Very Rev. CNN Nwanebo, who is also the Special Adviser to the Governor on Religious Affairs, assured that he is “coming over to transform Ikeduru.
Ikeduru has been bleeding for sometime with injustice, disunity and bias here and there and I cannot afford to disappoint my people, government and I will bring the capacity I’m made of, the one of ecclesiastic, political and social to enhance Ikeduru for a new dawn and level. I am glad to Uzodimma for finding me so worthy for the appointment”.
Adding her voice, one of the proponents of peace and good governance from Inyishi Ward, Umudim in Ikeduru LGA, Hon. Clara Nwanyipuruiche Njoku, prayed to God to help the SOLADs perform creditably as they vowed to liberate their people, stressing that Ikeduru SOLAD has the capacity to unite Ikeduru people for firm reign of peace, justice and progress.
