The Secretary, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, (PFN), Abia State chapter, Rev. Blessed Amalambu has identified restructuring of the country as the panacea to the current crises in the country.
This is even as he has challenged the Igbo nation to eschew mistrust among themselves , to reclaim their rightful place in the country.
Amalambu made the calls on in Umuahia on Wednesday through a message he delivered on the recent crises bedeviling Nigeria, especially the nationwide protests and looting.
His words, “We need restructuring in Nigeria. A situation where a particular region is enjoying and others suffering is disheartening. A situation where nepotism is the order of the day and where one region or tribe is qualified to hold sensitive and juicy positions and others are not qualified to hold same, is bad.
The priest maintained that every geopolitical zone in the country should be allowed to generate and manage her own resources, pointing out that with such framework in place, every zone would compete to develop her area and adequately solve the challenges of unemployment.
The Abia PFN scribe wondered why money bags in the South-east seldom help the zone to develop, unlike what is obtainable in the other regions.
Amalambu queried, “How much have we, particularly Igbo politicians invested to develop Igbo land? How many people have we empowered to stand independently and in turn empower others?
