The Senator Representing Anambra Central Senatorial District Uche Ekwunife, Ph.D, has urged the National Forum for South East group to support and canvas for a South East president with capacity to pilot the affairs of Nigeria.
Senator Uche Ekwunife made this known at the Uche Ekwunife Event Centre Awka, during the courtesy visit by the National Forum For South East Presidency (NFSEP) Anambra delegated at Awka as one of the members of NFSEP Adversory Council.
Shortly after welcoming the delegates, Sen Uche Ekwunife expressed happiness with the activities of NFSEP and specifically urge NFSEP members to do more by visiting and organizing interactive sessions with some Major South East Presidential hopefuls.
She frowned at the slow pace in which Major stakeholders from the SE with Presidential interest openly declare their intention.
National president of the Association, Dr Patrick Enuneke explained that one of the mission statements of NFESP is to align and collaborate with stakeholders who are at the echelon of powers and very effective towards human and capital development and which Sen Uche Ekwunife is one of them.
Dr Enuneku explained that the recognition was aimed to encourage the lawmaker to do more for the people, adding that Sen Uche Ekwunife is ranked 3rd in the number of bill sponsored by senators in the 9th Assembly.
