The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan-Ogunwusi has hailed the leadership qualities of Presidential Aspirant the All Progressives Congress, Rotimi Amaechi, praying God’s guidance and blessings upon him as he seeks the highest office in Nigeria. Oba Enitan-Ogunwusi made the commendation and prayers when the Minister of Transportation paid him a consultation visit at his Palace in Ile Ife where he insisted that looking at Amaechi’s history, for the last twenty-three years he has actually gone through the rank and file.
The Ooni of Ife, Oba maintained that Amaechi has found favour in the sight of God saying that with the activities of the APC leader in Rivers State, it can be said that he has the interest of this country at heart. Earlier in his speech, the Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi while stating the reason for his visit, promise that if given the opportunity to govern the country, he will ensure that both the rich and the poor have a space, knowing that he belongs to the two sides. Amaechi also proposed a review of legislation to give more relevance to the traditional institution if given the opportunity to serve as Nigeria’s President.
