Onitsha North Skill Acquisition Centre in partnership with Onitsha Advancement Foundation (OnAF) has graduated its 6th batch students successfully, doling out start up kits.
The ceremony which took place during the weekend saw fifty students trained in various areas such as Tailoring, Fashion Designing, Cosmetology, Gele, Bead Making with other skills needed for self reliance and improved livelihood.
Delivering his address at the occasion, Chairman of OnAF, Agha Mba expressed gratitude to Governor Willie Obiano for his earnest engagement of youths in his administration through numerous appointments and constructive youth-based programmes. The Chairman, in a very special way appreciated the Obi of Onitsha HRM Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Achebe for his support and guidance.
Some of the beneficiaries, Chinwe, Blessing and Emeka noted that they will utilize their learned experiences in a way to become productive contributors of development in the society.
