Onitsha North chairman donates two police traffic stands to officers

The chairman of Onitsha North LGA Hon. Patrick Agha Mba has donated two traffic stands to the Nigeria police to help in effective management of traffic in Onitsha and environs.

He also gave an award to six outstanding traffic officers in Onitsha of the various arms of traffic management agencies in the State namely ATMA, Police, State traffic enforcement team, and Onitsha Traffic Agency (ONTA).

The event which took place on Wednesday 2021 was held at the Chairman’s office Onitsha North LG headquarters and had officers of the traffic police and other agencies awarded with gifts on appreciation of their relentless efforts to services.

The chairman while addressing his audience applauded Gov Willie Obiano for the wonderful work he is doing in Anambra State while urging beneficiaries not to relent on their excellent service delivery to the good people of Onitsha North and Anambra State at large.

Hon Mba equally promised to donate more traffic stands and to also award more dedicated officers very soon.
The gallant DOP of Inland Town Police Station Onitsha CSP Arikpo Ofem while receiving the traffic stands commended the chairman for the donation and for rewarding hard-working traffic persons in Onitsha, he noted that this support will add value to traffic management in Onitsha and that it is an encouragement for more work.

The beneficiaries of the award are Ogbuchukwumalu Obiora Ayaegbuna of State enforcement team, Fidelis Egwu of ATMA, Nwachukwu Raphael of ONTA, Iloduba Chibuzo MaryAnn of ONTA, Obuneme Okeke of Police, Eyiuche Okagbu of Police
