An ardent supporter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has warned youths of Ohaji/Egbema local government area of Imo State who he said were allegedly paid to abuse their political leaders to stop.

Speaking to newsmen in Owerri, Chief Silas Obijuru who is an indigene of Ohaji/Egbema advised the youth to fight the perceived enemies of their masters, stating that their masters can never use their children for thuggery or hatchet jobs.

Obijuru flayed the way some youths of the locality pull their political leaders down through baseless allegations, frowning that such behavior on their political leaders is uncalled for, while calling on them to turn a new leaf for them to prosper and live happily.

“Our political leaders should be respected especially in the public. They can be criticized constructively so that they improve on their job and behavior, but definitely not in a public gathering. Youths who were paid for this kind of job should desist. They should remember that as youths they are future leaders and when they attain leadership position nemesis may catch up with them. Let us embrace peace and love for one another. Without peace and love there will be no development. If we destroy our political leaders our political future would be bleak”, Obijuru warned.

He said he wants the youth to embrace the Uzodimma led APC government, adding that “it is the party at the central government which has given our sons and daughters appointments. Dr. Esom Obodo is the General Manager of ADAPALM and he is doing great, Dr. Nina Nwulu, Hon. Oby Ajuku, Rt. Hon. Goodluck Opiah, Chief Charles Orie and others were appointed into positions of authority in the government and they are all doing well.

He used the opportunity to congratulate the General Manager of ADAPALM, Ohaji, Dr. Esom Obodo for his 365 days of glaring transformation and restoration of hope to the workers of ADAPALM, adding that the palm was built on the principle of service delivery for the workers, landlords and the catchment communities of Ohaji/ Egbema and Agwa.
