The Anambra state Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has deployed a total of one thousand nine hundred and thirty six of its personnel to ensure adequate protection of lives and property during and after the Easter celebration.
This was disclosed in a press release signed by the Public Relations Officer Anambra State Command, ASC Okadigbo Edwin where he stated that; “In view of the forthcoming Easter celebration on Sunday, the State Commandant of NSCDC Anambra State Command, Comdt. David Bille has assurd the good people of Anambra State of the command’s readiness to perform its statutory responsibility of protection of lives and properties of innocent citizens in the State during the Easter celebration”.
To this effect, “the state commandant has ordered the deployment of one thousand nine hundred and thirty six (1,936) officers and men drawn from Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU), Chemical Biological Radioactive Nuclear and Energy unit (CBRNE), Disaster Rresponse Unit, Medical, Crisis Management Unit, Special Force, Anti-Vandalism Unit and Critical Protection Unit (CIPU) to ensure adequate protection during and after the Easter celebration”.
