Anambra State Chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC), Chief Basil Ejidike, on Friday, said the state chapter is not participating in the Saturday state congresses taking place nationwide.
According to him, “Anambra chapter will not participate because of the forthcoming November 6 governorship election in the state.”
The chapter, under my leadership is currently preparing ahead of the poll.
We have officially written to the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) in that regard, which was approved by a member representing the North-East in the party’s National Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Professor Mamman Tahir.
According to him, Professor Tahir had fixed another date for Anambra State congress, shortly after the gubernatorial election.
