The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, (NNPC), Total Upstream Nigeria Limited and partners, on Wednesday donated a model secondary school to Old Umuahia community in Umuahia South Local Government Area of Abia State.

The donors further explained that the model secondary school is also equipped with; one 60kva soundproof generator, 15kva solar powered inverter and borehole to serve student’s water needs.
In his address during the ceremony, Abia State commissioner for education, Associate Professor Kanaelechi Nwangwa, reiterated the determination of Okezie Ikpeazu led government towards the provision of quality education in the state, stressing that his ministry would continue to partner with corporate organisations in education sector.
