Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on Tuesday reacted to the attacks Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, protesters suffered from policemen.

Kanu warned that it was an international crime to use live bullets against protesters.

The IPOB leader maintained that it is the duty of the police, Army and the Department of State Services, DSS, to disobey orders aimed at suppressing peaceful protests.

In a tweet, Kanu wrote: “Dear Nigerians: If your relative/friend is a security agent (Police, Army, DSS), tell him that it’s an international CRIME to use live bullets against #EndSARS protesters; that it’s his DUTY to humanity to DISOBEY all orders to suppress the protests. If you KILL, you will SUFFER!”

Nigerians have been protesting the brutality of police officers in the country.
