A pressure group under the aegis of National Forum for South East Presidency (NFSEP) has drummed her support and commitment to the realization of southeast president come 2023.The group which is domiciled in 35 states of the Federation with two Diaspora, chapters in Ghana and Canada is neither a political party nor affiliated to any political party.
The national president, Dr Patrick Enuneku while speaking to newsmen shortly after the South East zonal meeting held in Awka recently reiterated that the group’s intention was to see a Nigeria with a President of Igbo Extraction from the South East come 2023.
He stated that the group through her meetings has started to sensitize, mobilize, galvanize support and advocate for a Nigerian president of Southeastern extraction by 2023.
Also speaking, the South East Zonal Secretary, Comrade Izuka Udoka noted that plans are already in motion to ensure that the message is sent to all the communities in Nigeria with Southeast Presidency 2023 offices scattered in all nooks and crannies of the country until the objectives of ushering in a president of Nigeria from South East is achieved.
The National Media & Publicity Secretary, Dr. Charles Ebulue who stated that the slogan of the group is “One Nigeria for Equity & Fairness”, urged all responsible citizens to key in and make positive contributions towards achieving the set aims and objectives of the group.
