Members of the media executives network have paid a visit to an ace broadcaster, Mr Ogechi Iwu of Ozisa FM Owerri, Imo State over his ill health.

Mrs Dorothy Nnaji who led some members of the 2nd anniversary planning committee on the visit, told Mr Iwu that they have come to show solidarity and camaraderie to him as a media colleague.

She explained that the media executives network is a platform for topnotch media professionals who have come together to find a way of taking care of themselves.

The Chairman informed him that the organisation is planning its second anniversary, which will feature public lectures and award presentations, among others.

In his response, Mr Ogechi Iwu thanked members of the Network for the visit and explained that one of his legs was amputated at the Federal Medical Centre, Owerri, due to a debilitating health condition.

Mr Iwu, while thanking them for the undisclosed sum of money given to him, said that in the days ahead when he must have been stronger, he will like to be part of the group, adding that he will equally offer any assistance within his capacity towards the success of the anniversary.

Other members that were in the visit included; the Secretary; Comrade Eze Adiuku, Mr Ndukaku John Chimezie and Comrade Ngozi Ejimadu.
