The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, has openly accused the leader the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu of breeding the embers of insecurity in Igboland by illegally arming members of his Eastern Security Network (ESN) to challenge all security forces in Nigeria.
Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, the leader of the group disclosed this to pressmen in his Owerri residence on Monday. Uwazuruike said that it was unfortunate that Kanu’s ideal of gaining Biafra had led to the death of so many innocent Igbo youths.
“Both Nnamdi Kanu and his ESN members know they cannot defeat Nigeria. We all cannot sleep with our eyes closed in this country anymore, and the coordinator is in far-away land snoring away while we live in panic here.” He thanked some South east governors for their efforts in resisting the efforts of the IPOB militia within the region.
Speaking further, the MASSOB boss called on the South East governors to take over the ESN and profile all members of the group for effective deployment into active vigilante services within the region.
