Former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan has lauded the government and people of Imo state for creating a conducive atmosphere that is attracting investors.
Jonathan made this commendation while commissioning an ultra-modern hospital built by Rev. Fr Kenny Udunka at Umuohiagu in Ngor-Okpala local government area of Imo State.
He urged the citizens to support the state government, positing that COVID-19 which negatively affected economies of the world has made governance difficult and more challenging.
In his speech, Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma appreciated Rev. Fr Kenny Udunka for considering Imo state for the investment and enjoined other investors, especially those from Imo state to emulate the gesture.
He promised that the state government will continue to provide adequate security for all investors, as well as other support they may need to realize the aim of making the investment.
While soliciting the support, cooperation and hospitality of the indigenes for the investors, the governor informed well to do Imolites who are fond of going abroad for medical tourism that all they look for abroad is now in the state.
urging them to go to the hospital for their medical needs.
