Imo State Commissioner of Police (CP) Isaac Akinmoyede has lauded the Inspector General of Poice, IGP Adamu Abubakar, for the improvements and other innovations he has brought to bear in 8th regular intake selection examination of the Nigerian police.
The CP made this commendation when he paid a visit to Swintec Computer CBT (Computer Based Test) centre where candidates of Imo origin were taking the examination.
He noted that the present mode of exam (CBT) has made the exams less burdensome and less cumbersome.
These were made known through a press release by the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) SP Ikeokwu Orlando.
The CP congratulated applicants for making it this far and wished them well in their efforts to serve their father land through the police force. He further advised them to adhere to all NCDC protocols, as well as the rules and regulations of the academy.
The CP used the opportunity to monitor the deployment of security at the venue and expressed satisfaction at the level of security provided.
He further thanked the Inspector General of Police, IGP Adamu Abubakar, adding that the present mode of examination (CBT) has made the exams less burdensome and cumbersome.
