The Member representing Owerri North State Constituency in Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Kelechi Ofurum, has stressed on Governor Hope Uzodimma’s reelection.
He added that Uzodimma is a visionary leader who he mentioned is working wonders in the state, saying when the Governor is reelected he would surely continue his good works across the state for total rehabilitation, reconstruction and recovery of Imo State where peace, security and progress will reign supreme.
In a chart with our reporter in Owerri on Thursday, Ofurum urged the people of Imo State to discard all negative criticisms against the Shared Prosperity led administration, but look at the good things he had achieved in the state and beyond and give him their second mandate to enable him consolidate good governance and improved good living, social comfort and economic prosperity.
The lawmaker highlighted that “Governor Hope Uzodimma has redefined governance in the state by solidly constructing and rehabilitating Owerri/Orlu, Owerri/Okigwe, Owerri/Mbaise/Umuahia highways including local roads across the state, the Owerri urban renewal, youth skills training on ICT, marketing, astronomic increment of workers wages, regular salary payment, 10,000 recruitment of primary school teachers, ongoing dredging of Oguta/Orashi River to link Atlantic Ocean for improved trade and commercialisation, the upgrading of Federal Medical Centre Owerri to Federal University Teaching Hospital Owerri, upgrading of Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education Owerri to Federal University of Education among other numerous achievements.
The legislator who promised to always join in galvanizing the people of Owerri North for the reelection of Governor Hope Uzodimma in the November 11 2023 guber election, reassured the people of Owerri North of effective, quality, friendly and all-encompassing representation, even as he called for love, peace and unity among the people.
