Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has directed the State’s Commissioner for works, Dr. Bob Ogu to commence rehabilitation works on Umuogele-Amapu-Ntigha road in Isiala Ngwa North LGA.
The Governor gave the directive at Umuogele Ntigha, when he paid a new year visit to Ochiagha Reagan Ufomba in his country home.
The Governor stated that the road which connects several communities and markets was of immense importance to the natives of the affected communities and would further boost the economic growth of Abia State.
He assured that more communities would benefit from his road initiatives, in line with the people-oriented programs of his administration.
Responding to the Governor’s directive, Ochiagha Reagan Ufomba, said he was elated by the Governor’s desire to develop the State, noting that the socio-economic fortunes of his people would be boosted if the roads are reconstructed.
