An industrialist, security expert and the SDP candidate for Ohaji/Egbema State Constituency Seat in 2023 election, Hon. Engr. Onyiriuka Stanley, says he created job for many indigenes of Ohaji/Egbema and Agwa in Adapalm when he was the Coordinator, Ohaji/Egbema branch of Imo Niger Delta Security Network, INDSN.
He explained that the feat was possible as he and his men summoned up courage and resilience, stepped in, engaged the hoodlums in a battle, defeated them and eventually recovered Adapalm, employed many people especially youths, who are today doing well.
Onyiriuka, who disclosed this cheering tidings during an audience with some Liberation Mandate compliants at Arizona Hotel, Owerri, on Thursday, organized by his younger brother, Onyiriuka Chiedozie Darlington, emphasized that he and his men chase out hoodlums from Adapalm because they were able to galvanize Adapalm host communities like Etekwuru, Umunwakwu, Amafor, Agwa.
“I was instrumental to the recovering of Adapalm from hoodlums when I coordinated Imo Niger Delta Security Network. I was able to galvanize Adapalm host communities like Etekwuru, Umunwaku, Amafor, Agwa who worked with me to recover Adapalm which gave employment to our youths especially. Then, insecurity was reduced minimally because many youths were gainfully engaged”, he said.
According to him, he has held so many social, political positions such as Secretary to Ohaji/Egbema LGA (two consecutive times) Coordinator, Imo Youth Council, Ohaji/Egbema and Coordinator, Imo Niger Delta Security Network, Ohaji/Egbema, “I will definitely affect the lives of the people positively through quality representation if I’m given the mandate to be in the Imo State House of Assembly from 2023 by the good people of Ohaji/Egbema hence I understand what their major problems are: lack of social amenities, unemployment, poverty underdevelopment, violence, government shenaniganry”.
“Being into agribusiness, I will teach many people how to be resourceful through active farming, empower them accordingly to start off their own farms and as well generate employment to others to make them more productive and financially rich. Liberation Mandate is poised to teach youths how to fish in order to become useful to themselves, families and communities. I will fight for the right of the people. I will lead the people to safe grounds. I’m in the race to viably correct the problems bedevilling the people. God will shepherd me to liberate Ohaji/Egbema and thereby standardise economic prosperity, infrastructural development and security because God prepared me for good leadership”, the SDP candidate maintained.
He stressed that internal security is the only security the area can afford to have which ought to be taken seriously by all persons, appealing to the people to always give room to investors to come in and invest to even enhance development and better living, saying “development can only be feasible when there is security at the area. And when they come in, the major people they will employ are our people. If we succeed Ohaji/Egbema is going to be one of the best LGAs in Imo State and beyond”, promising not to fail nor disappoint them if given their mandate.
Giving votes of thanks, the host, Onyiriuka Chiedozie Darlington, appreciated the people for believing in Hon. Onyiriuka Stanley, as well as supporting the Liberation Mandate which he added was aimed at liberating Ohaji/Egbema enclave from bad rulership, poverty, lack, insecurity and underdevelopment, urging those who do not have PVC to try to get registered with INEC to obtain PVC that will enable them to elect Hon. Onyiriuka Stanley to Imo State House of Assembly.
