The founder of Gregory University, Uturu, Prof Greg Ibe on Monday awarded a university scholarship to Miss Ufomba Justina who emerged the winner of the Vision Africa Radio Icons Music Reality Show 2020 with a cash donation of N500,000
Miss Ufomba during the contest, polled 497 points to defeat her closest rival, Precious Ifeanyichukwu who polled 469 points while Ogbonna Chukwuemeka polled 450 points to win the third position .

In his speech, the Chairman of the occasion and Chancellor Gregory University Uturu, Prof. Gregory Ibe called for employment of Nigerian youths to equip them to become greater future leaders.

He noted that Gregory University had been in the business of producing graduates who are doing exceptionally well in different fields of endeavour.

Prof. Ibe who was represented by the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Professor Augustine Uwakwe commended the President of Vision Africa, Bishop Dr. Sunday Onuoha for giving the youth a progressive platform.

He announced that, GUU having become part of Vision Africa Radio, will offer N500,000 to the winner with scholarship at GUU; N300,000 to second position while a cash prize of N250, 000 will go to the 3rd position.

Earlier in his remarks, the President, Vision Africa International, Bishop Dr. Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha solicited the committal of 30 percent of budget at all levels to youth development.

In her reaction, the winner of the 2020 event, Miss Justina Ufomba extolled the wisdom of the organisers in discovering talented brains , expressing her appreciation to the organisers for their giant strides in talent discovery .

Miss Justina revealed that it was painstaking winning this year’s event but solicited the support of more Nigerians to Vision Africa music reality show.
She also thanked Prof Gregory Ibe and Bishop Sunday Onuoha for the scholarship award, promising to remain their good ambassador.
