A group, Pan Nigerian President of Igbo Extraction Coalition (PANPEC), has urged the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) and other political parties in the country to zone the 2023 presidency to Igbo to enable them produce the president of Nigeria.
State Director, Planning and Strategy and Coordinator, South East for President, Hon Victor Nwachukwu, who spoke during a stakeholders meeting in Owerri on Saturday through expressed the view that the political shortchanging of the Igbo in the Nigerian polity should be corrected by allowing the South East to produce president of the country in 2023.
PANPEC boasted that many prominent sons and daughters of Igbo extraction, home and in the Diaspora are queuing into the project of Igbo President of Nigeria in 2023.
“PANPEC has achieved 75 per cent effort of advocating for Igbo Presidency of Nigeria in 2023. Hence Igbo people are powerful and competent enough to lead Nigeria. All political parties especially the PDP, APC should as a matter of equity and justice zone the presidency to Igbo.
Nwachukwu said that PANPEC is an advocacy umbrella for other recognized bodies rooting for Igbo president and have coordinators at the wards and local government areas of Imo State.
