A Non partisan group, The Imo Forum (TIF), has reaffirmed support for Peter Obi even as it appealed to eligible voters to vote wisely, saying it has been fully mobilizing electorate, as well as supports the Labour Party presidential candidate financially to enable him emerge victorious in the February 25th presidential election.

The forum which welcomed the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi and his amiable wife, Margaret Obi, in Owerri, respectively, last week, through its founder and financier, Chief Ken Onuoma, noted that TIF had put in place a lot of energy and resources humanly and materially in canvassing votes for the LP presidential candidate in all spheres of Imo State.

Onuoma assured that TIF will continue to partner with Labour Party and other relevant groups to ensure that Peter Obi wins the poll to be able to liberate the people and recover Nigeria which he regretted is going down the drain given to mal administration, greed, corruption, wickedness, incompetence, racial hatred, social discrimination and political marginalization.

In her submission, Public Relations Officer of TIF, Amb. Steven Happiness Odochi, hinted that TIF is partnering with LP, as well as being at the centre of mobilization for the presidential rally, adding that the forum organized 27 buses from the various LGAs to convey imolites and supporters of ObiDatti to Alaba Market, Ogbosisi, Chillys Event Centre for the town hall meeting.

Odochi said the president of TIF is a man with a golden heart whose major interest is to contribute his quota in ushering a president who cares for the citizens.

In his words, Chairman, Presidential Campaign Council Strategic Team and Deputy National President of TIF, Barr. Kingsley Ononuju, while welcoming Imolites to the town hall meeting which was held at Landmark Event Centre, said Peter Obi is going to be the next President of Nigeria.

Ononuju reiterated the commitment of the group in making the presidential aspiration of the LP candidate fruition, urging Imo electorate to vote wisely and largely for Peter Obi and Datti Yusuf.

Contributing, TIF Woman Leader Hon. Mrs Chinyere Uzoma and the Secretary, Lady Chinwe Onyimma, said TIF hired buses that brought in women, youths and men from across the 27 LGAs of the state to the presidential rally, hinting that 99% of Imo women with PVCs are fully ready to vote for Peter Obi, Datti Yusuf and other Labour Party candidates, saying TIF members are apostles of good governance.
