A political support group, African Diaspora for Biden, has disclosed that the election of Joe Biden as the 46th President of America and Kamala Harris as the first Female Vice President was divine.
National Co-Chairman of the group, Miss Philomena Desmond-Ogugua, stated this while felicitating with Biden and Harris on their inauguration in an interaction with journalists in Owerri.
Desmond-Ogugua, who aspired for House of Representatives seat under the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the 2019 general election, called on Americans and the rest of the world to fully support the Biden-led administration to enable him solve pressing challenges of insecurity, unemployment and Coronavirous Pandemic which gives the world tough time.
According to her, “On behalf of African Diaspora for Biden, we say thank you and congratulations to everyone who worked hard to elect Joe Biden as President of the United States of America.
”We assure Americans that in line with the policy thrust of the Biden administration, insecurity, unemployment will be tackled and the economy revived. Also COVID-19 will be a thing of the past. God bless America”.
