From Karen James, Nnewi

The family of Mr. John Umeoke in Nnewi, Anambra State, has urged the Police and other security agencies to redouble efforts towards finding their child who according to them, has been missing since 2017.

The child, Master Joel Chimsimdi Sopuluchukwu John, according to his parents, was over three years old when he was seen last by his family and relations.
Narrating the incident to newsmen, the victim’s mother, Mrs Ifeoma Umeoke, who hails from Uli, Anambra State, married to Abakaliki in Ebonyi State, but lives in Nnewi, said she left her son asleep on 23rd October, 2020 for an errand, and couldn’t find him on return.

The father of the missing child, Mr. John Umoke, said among other measures aimed at ensuring the finding of the child, the matter was reported to the State CID and DSS office in Awka, while family and relations continue to keep hope alive on the missing child.
Reacting, the Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Haruna Muhammed, said the Command is not aware of the incident, urging the family to report the incident to the Police for necessary actions.
