Anambra top notch governorship aspirants come November 6th have been selected to receive the distinguished award of excellence and community service from the National South East for Presidency.
The group which is a coalition of all Nigerians clamoring for change has its theme: “South East: the Quest for a Nigerian President of Igbo Extraction” is scheduled to hold its first ever anniversary/symposium on Thursday, 20th of May, 2021 at Best Western hotel, Awka.
Speaking during a brief interview with the group’s national president, Dr. Patrick Enuneku who reiterated that the groups mandate is to achieve the position of a president from an Igbo extraction.
He however noted that it is time for all inclusiveness, fairness and equity to be observed in the country.
Patrick maintained that the symposium will also issue outstanding awards to some of the sons and daughters of the state who have showed relentless efforts in the areas of development and humanitarian services.
Among them are, Hon. Ndidi Mezue (Adadioramma), Chief Dr George Moghalu (Ohamadike Nnewi), Sen. Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah (Ebubechukwuzo) and Sen. Uche Lilian Ekwunife ( Iyom) among others.
However, Chief Ezendigbo Onwuaso and Professor Peter Umeadi were among the stalwarts who have openly declared interest to run for the presidency election come 2023.
