Ebonyi PDP mourns former Party chair, Elder Fred Udeogu

The People’s Democratic Party Ebonyi state has mourned the death of Elder Fred Udeogu the immediate past Caretaker Chairman of the Party in the State who died on Friday, December 3, 2022.

 

The Party in a statement issued by the
State Chairman Hon Tochukwu Okorie
in Abakaliki expressed shock over the death of Elder Udeogu whom he said was one of their great leaders in the State.

He said: “Elder Udeogu until his death remained unflinching in his dedication and service to the party which provided the much needed fatherly encouragement and stability within the ranks of the party. Worthy of specific note is his tremendous role to quell the little internal crisis that threatened our corporate unity as he worked tirelessly openly and behind the scenes to ensure that peace returned to the fold” .

“Ebonyi PDP commiserates with his family and We pray for solace, divine direction and courage to navigate through this very difficult bend in their lives. May his soul rest in peace”.

“The party will make necessary announcement in due course as we await details of activities as will be announced by the family”. The statement added.
