Former National Chairman of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Sir Victor Umeh has called on Anambra citizens not to loose any sleep on the premises that All Progressive Alliance candidate, Senator Andy Ubah will be heading to court over Soludo’s victory.
Umeh disclosed this to journalists in his hometown Aguluizigbo community, Aniocha Local government area when he hosted APGA stakehokders and community members for Soludo victory.
According to him, “Senator Andy Ubah is entitled to go to court, anybody who is not satisfied with the electoral results can go to court providing a good reason, but in this election it will be a waste of time, he came 3rd in the election, adding that the election turned out the way people wanted it, the people should enjoy the outcome of the election”.
Furthermore, Umeh said he doesn’t see anything that went wrong in the election because “it was peaceful and fair, noting that all the other candidates have congratulated the winner, Prof. Charles Soludo, namely the PDP and its candidate that came 2nd, YPP that came 4th has also congratulated the winner, except APC candidate.
“President Buhari has also congratulated the winner, going to court will not ruffle any of us”.
“The outcome of the election was exactly what the people wanted, so nobody gave him any mandate, that it actually when a mandate is given, you can want to recover it back, the Anambra people did not give Andy Ubah any mandate”.
