Lawmaker representing Idemili North and Idemili South Local Government Areas in the House of Representatives, Hon. Obinna Chidoka has dragged the National Productivity Center to his constituency for a power training on phone repairs and sowing.
The skill acquisition training for unemployed youths and women took place at Chief Thomas Chidoka Center, Obosi in Idemili North Local Goverment Area of Anambra State where no fewer than sixty persons benefitted.
The empowerment training program was in continuation of the process that started last year in which 90 youths and women benefitted.
Lady Nneka Iwabi and Hon. Mrs Tessy Wilson (Woman Leader) who represented the lawmaker at the training program appreciated Chidoka for his passion for the growth and development of his constituents.
The duo pointed that Hon. Obinna Chidoka has positively impacted Idemili North and Idemili South council areas with his quality representation and uncommon empowerment programs for his constituents especially women and youths.
Operations Manager for VERSEIT Services Ltd., Ndieli Amaka, the consulting firm for National Productivity Center said that the training has better equipped the participants to set up their machines and as well service their machines whenever the need arises.
A participant, Okonkwo Aloysius appreciated the legislator who he described as a gift to Idemili people. He said that with the second phase of the training he has received and take off grant as well as the equipment made available to him by Hon. Chidoka, he can now stand on his own and be useful to himself and the society at large.
