Mr Mustafa Chike-Obi as has been appointed the Board Chairman, Anambra State Investment, Promotions and Protection Agency, (ANSIPPA) by the Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo. According to a release signed by the Commissioner for Information, Sir Paul Nwosu, the former commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Mr. Mark Okoye will serve as the Managing Director of the agency.
The announcement followed Governor Soludo’s promise to dissolve all boards in the state one month ago.
Members of the board included Mr. Christian Udechukwu, Dr. Marcel Ofomata, Dr. Emma Okeke and Mr. Sam Chidoka, while the statutory members of the board from the government side are, the Attorney General, Commissioners for Finance, Commerce and Industry, Budget and Economic Planning, as well as Lands and Survey.
Mr. Chike-Obi is currently the chairman of Fidelity Bank Plc, who has held top managerial and leadership positions in reputable global investment banking and management firms.
The Anambra State Investment, Promotion and Protection Agency is a government agency mandated to manage and oversee investments across the state while partnering with other stakeholders including private investors and authorities to execute key infrastructure projects in the state.
