The Minister of State for Mines and Steals Development, Dr. Uchechukwu Ogah has assured that President Muhammadu Buhari would complete all the projects he initiated before the end of his administration.
Ogah who disclosed this during inspection of the lead-mining processing plant site at Egu-Ogwu village in Ohaozara LGA of Ebonyi State said Mr. President has shown continual commitment in completion of projects he initiated in office including the building of the Artisanal and Small-Scale Mineral Processing Clusters in the six geo-political zone.
Ogah noted that the project which was developed for artisanal and small-scale miners was initiated by President Buhari to cushion the economic impact of COVID-19 pandemic.
Egu-Ogwu Community site has been chosen by the Federal Government for the establishment of Artisanal and Small-Scale Mineral Processing Clusters for the development of lead and zinc for the people of South East region.
“Mr. President is ready and has shown continual commitment in completion of projects he initiated in office including the building of the Artisanal and Small-Scale Mineral Processing Clusters in the six geo-political zone.
“So very soon work will start in all the sites and we are targeting to complete the project in one year including this one for the people of the south east and other regions in six months.
The land which covers about 60 hectares was donated by the Ebonyi State Government.
