Speaker, Imo State House of Assembly and Technical Committee Chairman, APC Registration/Revalidation of Membership, Rt Hon Paul Emeziem, has boasted that only card carrying members of APC will be entitled to enjoy economic prosperity in Imo State and across the nation.
The Speaker, who briefed journalists at the APC State Secretariat, Owerri, yesterday, said Imo APC gives value to governance and democracy, hence he advised Imo people to register with APC to identify with the moving train of good leadership and good living.
According to Emeziem, “APC membership card is a ticket to democratic prosperity. The ticket will only bring you more fortune if you are a member of the party. We are asking Imo people to avail themselves to the registration exercise and become full members. It is better for you to share in the dividends of democratic prosperity which APC offers. Those wasting their time in other dead parties should join APC because APC will not leave power in the next 20 to 30 years. So, the earlier you identify with APC the better for you”.
He noted that the exercise has commenced having been successful, saying it would end in the next two weeks, as he hailed the leadership of Governor Hope Uzodimma for uniting and sustaining the party in the state.
Emeziem believes that Uzodimma led Shared Prosperity administration has done well especially on road construction, saying the governor started well and will end well.
Positing that there was no challenge encountered in the exercise so far, National Committee Chairman of the registration in charge of Imo State, Godwin Anaughe, hinted that local personnel has been trained for the exercise which he added was flagged off after the training.
State APC Caretaker Committee, Barr Nlemigbo Marcillenus and Legal Adviser of APC and Commissioner of Lands, Barr Enyinnaya Onuegbu, said Imo APC was happily one family under the leadership of Governor Hope Uzodimma.
