The Interim Management Committee Chairman of Aboh Mbaise local government area of Imo State, Barr Emma Njoku, has confirmed that the All Progressive Congress (APC) Local Government Areas Congress ended peacefully and successfully at Aboh Mbaise.
He disclosed this during a telephone chat with our reporter on Monday. He said members conducted themselves orderly as the congress lasted at the area, reflecting that the exercise was based on consensus voice vote affirmation.
According to Njoku, “the APC LGA congress has come and gone and it was very successful and peaceful. All the 27 LGA executive members were elected by a consensus voice vote affirmation and members were happy and satisfied with the outcome of the congress”.
The council boss used the medium to thank organizers for organizing a free, fair and peaceful congress which he said would stabilize and bring more success for the party especially the 2023 general election.
The Aboh Mabise council boss who appreciated Governor Hope Uzodimma for encouraging free and fair congress in the state, lauded him for doing well in infrastructure. He promised continued effort to meet the needs of the people of Aboh Mbaise.
