Some concerned youths under the auspices of a non- governmental organization, “Youths off The Street Initiative (YOTSI)” has urged Justice Nwabunike and Chris Uba to stop the corruption and injustice being meted out on the democracy values.
The youths equally called on Justice Nwabunike to produce the case file of the court judgement and stop the political rascality.
YOTSI made the call during the group’s protest march at the weekend in Awka with different inscription such as, “We call on Justice Nwabunike to produce the case file now”, “we call on good Judges to stand up for Ozigbo and save our Democracy”, “Justice for Ozigbo”, “ We won’t stop until justice prevail for Ozigbo”.
Speaking during a press conference at Finotel hotel Agu Awka, the convener of JUSTICE4OZIGBO Movement and an internationally acclaimed social entrepreneur and a frontline humanitarian/ activist, Comrade Kennedy Iyere, reports that the movement mandate is to ensure that justice prevails for Chief Valentine Ozigbo of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
”You all would agree with me that Nigeria is like a stagnant Nation because every time election is conducted, the unscrupulous elements keep emerging as the leader thereby submerging our votes”.
“Justice for Ozigbo, is a response tool, the series of injustice we have seen in the judiciary system perpetrated by the enemies of democracy by friends to corrupt judges within Nigeria judiciary system, we are here to counter that injustice, that is why we are calling on Justice O A Nwabunike who has allowed himself to be used as an agent for electoral destabilization.
“Nwabunike did not only deliver a faulty judgment in favour of those who sponsored him to do such but has also gone as far as hiding the case file for Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) so that they cannot appeal against his kangaroo judgement, that is unacceptable”, Iyere decried.
Youth leader of the group, Comrade Chigozie Edison added that the judiciary as the last hope of the common man should be able to protect the interest of the masses in all fairness and justice.
