The Chairman, People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Anambra state, Chief Ndubisi Nwobu on Friday lambasted the All Progressives Congress (APC) for saying that it will use ‘seen and unseen forces’ to win the November 6, governorship election in the state.
Nwobu spoke at the party secretariat in Awka while receiving the 21 Siena space wagon vehicles donated to the party by one of the governorship aspirants, Dr. Winston Udeh to facilitate movement of party members in the state. He assured that the party was mobilizing people in the state to wrestle power from the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
It would be recalled that Imo state governor, Sen. Hope Uzodimma and Minister for Labour & Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige had last month boasted that APC would employ seen and unseen forces to win the poll.
The party chieftain frown at the statement, assuring that PDP was re-strategizing and mobilizing party faithful and members of the public to vote for PDP, saying all measures had been put on ground to win the election.
“Anambra is not any other state. We need a strong party. PDP will mobilize Anambra people to produce a better governor for the state. We will take over the government house come November 6. “, he said.
While commending Udeh for donating the vehicles, he assured of their judicious use for party functions.
Earlier, Dr. Udeh said that the 21 vehicles were donated to ease movement of people and working materials during the governorship election and to form partnership with the party.
He said that there was no reason people of the state should be suffering, insisting that the state and citizens have been abandoned by APGA.
