National Forum for South East Presidency and its executives from Anaocha, Dunukofia and Njikoka LGAs during the week paid a courtesy visit to the candidate of Peoples Democractic Party (PDP) Anaocha, Dunukofia & Njikoka Federal Constituency at his country home, Ukpo, Dunukofia LGA, Anambra State.
The National President of the Association, Dr Patrick Enuneku Enuneku that the group’s mandate believes in equity, justice and fairness in other to project an Igbo president from a southeast extraction and support them to toe the line of good governance.
Dr Patrick while eulogizing the antecedents of the PDP flag bearer noted that he is the man with capacity who can be able to represent his people very well at the national assembly.
Speaking shortly after the opening remark, the PDP flag bearer, Prince Dr Emeka Eze informed NFSEP delegation that he is a strong proponent of 2023 S’East Presidency while pledging to be part of actualisation of the primary objective of NFSEP.
He further urged with NFSEP delegates for support in his quest to represent Anaocha, Dunukofia & Njikoka Federal Constituency come 2023 general election.
Speaking during the visit, Prince Emeka Eze described the ancestral leadership in Nri kingdom as a very significant aspect of history among the Nri people.
He bemoaned the abscence of federal representation while stating that Dunukofia have not been represented since the 24years of democratic dispensation in the Nigeria.
The Prince however, called on all eligible voters, electorates, stakeholders of PDP and party faithfuls in the zone to ensure that there is inclusive representation at the national assembly.
In the words of assurance, NFSEP Anaocha, Dunukofia & Njikoka LGAs represented by Engr Victor Ogbonna pledged to give massive support for the candidacy of Prince Eze as his objective collaborates NFSEP Aims.
Also speaking, Director General, Dr Emeka Eze Campaign Organisation, Mr Christian Okpokwesili, expressed satisfaction over the visit while urging the NFESP to help propagate the PDP candidate and help canvass votes for his victory.
Present at the event were the National Planning and Strategy Committee, Hon Tony Dibor, Awka South Coordinator, Hon Samuel Ogogor, among others.
