The Senator representing Ebonyi South Senatorial district, Senator Michael Ama Nnachi has condoled with Okpara’s family of Ezi Ukwu, Amaizu, Afikpo North LGA of Ebonyi State over the demise of their son, Flying Officer Michael Ifeanyi Okpara.
Flying Officer Michael Ifeanyi Okpara was among the victims of a military plane that crashed near the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Sunday.
Senator Nnachi in a statement issued by his Media Officer which was made available to journalists in Abakaliki on Wednesday, expressed his heart-felt condolences to Okpara’s family and others who died in the unfortunate crash.
According to the statement, the Senator joins the good people of Ebonyi South Senatorial District and Nigeria Air force in mourning Flying Officer Michael Ifeanyi Okpara and other officers who died in the line of duty.
He prayed the Almighty God to comfort the deceased families and give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and grant the departed souls peaceful rest.
